Hi, all
I'm hopping mad, and I'm taking over the kitties' blog for today, to point people to my other blog. I've posted an article there (and on Face Book) condemning the "Black Friday" shopping obsession.

Thank you, and thanks to the kitties for allowing me to borrow their blog page.

We don't have this black friday thing here, but if we did we'd feel very compelled not to buy any tuna or treats.
ReplyDeleteI followed the link and totally agree with you. I won't be shopping on Black Friday and I haven't for years. I also avoid shopping on holidays because I feel for the people who have to work them. I am often at work on holidays myself.
ReplyDeleteMom has shopped on Black Friday in the past, but this year she has decided to do her shopping online instead!
ReplyDeleteNo shoppin on Black Friday. Is too crowded an da "door busters" and crazy contests to haf the biggest sale is just stoopid. Mom does more an more shoppin online. Dat has its own problems fur stores.

Glogirly boycott's Macy's. Not just on Black Friday, but every single day of the year. They took her job away (laid her off) after 20 years. And they weren't very nice about it either.
ReplyDeleteI say if you must shop, shop online while reading my blog!

Read your article. We haven't been shopping on Black Friday for many years.
ReplyDeleteOur mom refuses to leave the house on Black Friday!
ReplyDeleteLove your article!! The best place to be on Black Friday is in the recliner, next to the fire, with cat(s) on your lap and a warm drink beside you. If I'm lucky, the kids let me knit. Otherwise it's purring and petting until we all fall asleep!
